Engineering & Capital Projects
The City Engineering staff oversees all City-related design and construction of transportation and utility systems, development reviews, and property surveys. They work to identify public improvement needs, design and manage City-funded construction projects for utility and transportation systems, as well as provide technical support and information to utility operators and the public. They also review development proposals and inspects private construction of public facilities. This includes identifying the need for transportation and utility improvements. These costs are partially recovered from fees assessed on developers for plan review and inspection.
