Description : The City of Shelton is accepting applications for an Administrative Support Assistant. This F/T position will perform a wide variety of clerical and/or administrative support duties for the administrative, executive, and legislative branches of City government. The starting salary range for this position is $3,128.00 per month. This position is within a collective bargaining unit.

Min Qualifications: Must be H.S. graduate or have GED; have taken business or other related courses and have two years increasingly responsible administrative support and/or secretarial experience. The incumbent must possess the ability to compose correspondence, meeting minutes, and other official materials while effectively employing principles of good correspondence, and the ability to accurately type a minimum of 50 WPM. Experience in Microsoft Office suites, database management, and experience with web site design and maintenance highly desirable. Have or have the ability to obtain, a valid Washington State Motor Vehicle Operator’s license and a Certificate of Appointment as a Notary Public within six months of employment.
